About the Owner
Hi My name is Chanda Wieland.
The Crazy Calico has been a dream of mine for many years. In 1993 I looked into purchasing a brick and mortar consignment business and things did not go as planned and we could not come to an agreement that worked for both of us. so i put that dream on hold. In 1998 I began selling online in yahoo auctions and then progressed to ebay in 2000. I was a power seller for over a decade and then in 2008 things stated to change on the online sales side so I left ebay in 2011 as my main source of sales and have been continue to sell on Amazon and other places. But inventory is not moving as fast as I'd like t to so I was blessed with an opportunity to have that brick and mortar store I have been dreaming about for over 25 years. This will make new options available for my customers like, but not limited to: Free local pick up, the ability to try things out or on, to be able to see sizes and colors first hand. I am not closing down my online side. but I am opening up the ability to have certain items placed in the online stores.
I have been very active in the Pahrump Community over the last decade, You may know me from Kiwanis Food For Thought, Pahrump Moose Lodge, Pahrump Relay For Life, the VFW, Smiles Across Pahrump, maybe I served you a meal or drink or you've seen me singing karaoke somewhere.
